“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. it is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold – though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.”

In today’s post I wanted to share with you the top 10 stocks according to social media under $50. Now, before I do, please know that I personally don’t own any of them myself. This is simply to highlight which way retail capital is flowing, at least for now. Additionally, here is an even more comprehensive list from SwaggyStocks.com, if you’re interested. Lastly, if you’re interested in the wheel strategy on any of these stocks, you may also want to view the new Signature Series – Wheel Strategy Spreadsheet.

Now, let’s take a look at the top 10 stocks according to social media under $50 for July 2025.

top 10 stocks according to social media under $50

Top 10 Stocks According to Social Media Under $50 [July 2025]

10. Carnival Corp. – CCL

Today’s Price – $27.26

You may know this as Carnival Cruise Lines and it’s checking in on social media today at number 10. It seems like just yesterday we were in the middle of the covid pandemic and wondering if Carnival would ever get off the floor. Well, it seems they’re making a comeback and that rocky period has been left in the past.

There is plenty of options volume at every expiration and the premiums are decent enough. At 47 DTE the 10 delta put is just shy of 1% or about 7% annually. That’s 1% with an approximate 16% margin of safety to boot.

9. BP p.l.c – BP

Today’s Price – $30.34

At number 9 is a stock I’ve traded many cash secured puts on over the years. Additionally, in all those puts I’ve never once owned the shares. That’s mostly luck but BP isn’t wildly volatile either which certainly helps.

Regardless, you’ll find plenty of options liquidity with just about average premiums. Possibly, timing an entry here could return a few extra doubloons and it’s a stock that doesn’t scare me, so that helps.

8. GameStop Corp. – GME

Today’s Price – $23.59

This stock just won’t quit and more than 4 years since most declared it insolvent it’s still alive and kicking. I guess roaring kitty just refuses to let this one go.

In any case, I wouldn’t personally want to hold this one but if you’re in search of options liquidity and a stock that loves the limelight the GME may check the box. At 47 DTE the 10 delta put offers 1.5% with about a 25% margin of safety.

7. Intel Corporation – INTC

Today’s Price – $22.69

I think I speak for everyone when I say, will Intel ever make a comeback? I guess only time will tell. Truthfully, I actually read a pretty optimistic report about Intel the other day and that’s really saying something. It seems like for the past 2 years if Intel was even mentioned, it wasn’t going to be good.

Much like the other stocks thus far on our top 10 stocks according to social media under $50 list, Intel boasts incredible options liquidity.

6. Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares – SOXL

Today’s Price – $25.11

I recently wrote a post about the SOXL ETF, “SOXL – the 3X Leveraged Semi-Conductor ETF.” In that post I shared all the reasons I really enjoy trading this high risk ETF. The premiums can’t be beat and if you believe technology hasn’t yet plateaued then this may be one to keep on the radar.

That said, I wouldn’t probably want to hold it very long term but as a trading vehicle I personally like it.

5. JD.com, Inc. – JD

Today’s Price – $33.07

Marking the half way point of this list is the Chinese retailer JD.com. Now, I don’t personally know much about JD but they’ve routinely been a name on my radar. I’ve never traded them or had any interest too but apparently I’m the minority. They seem to have ample options liquidity and about average premiums.

4. Occidental Petroleum Corporation – OXY

Today’s Price – $42.60

I’m about 90% certain this is the stock Warren Buffett has been buying recently. Again, I know very little about them myself but the analyst ratings do appear mostly positive. There appears to be more than enough liquidity to trade but the premiums seem a little light at an initial glance. Possibly, the best way to play OXY would be to time an entry.

3. Super Micro Computer, Inc. – SMCI

Today’s Price – $47.58

Moving into the top 3 stocks according to social media, first up is SMCI and you may remember it from its meteoric rise in 2024. Since then, SMCI is down about 60% off it’s high but does appear to have found its footing in 2025, up about 75% from the low to start the year.

That said, it’s one I’ve always been skeptical of but if it’s liquidity and premium you’re after without committing an entire portfolio, then SMCI has you covered. Currently, at 47 DTE the 10 delta put offers a whopping 2.5% in premium. That premium is coupled with a near 30% margin of safety so for what it is SMCI could make a great deal of sense depending on your perspective.

2. Rocket Lab Corp. – RKLB

Today’s Price – $35.38

RKLB is a stock that has peaked my interest since I first learned about it earlier this year. I mean, if science fiction movies are to be believed, space is the way of the future. I guess the real question is how soon into the future are we talking? Your assessment and response to that question would make this stock more or less desirable.

Option liquidity isn’t stellar across every expiration but there is certainly enough to play. At 47 DTE the 10 delta put offers a staggering 2.9% or annually about 22% with a 30% margin of safety. Not to bad at all, if the bullish trend continues.

1. AST Space Mobile, Inc. – AST

Today’s Price – $49.36

And finally, checking in at the very top spot for the most social media activity is ASTS. This Midland, Texas based company has absolutely gone to the moon, literally, during the month of June 2025. Currently, with one more trading day left to go, ASTS is up 117% in one month. This one certainly will be on my short list for research, to see what all the hype is about.

That said, options liquidity and premium are also out of this world. For instance, at 47 DTE the 10 delta put is offering an eye popping 3.45% with over a 30% margin of safety. However, volatility is sky high on this one, at least as of today so tread carefully if you do consider a play.

Final Thoughts

Well, there is the top 10 stocks according to social media under $50 for July 2025. I think the list is a collection of relatively stable companies with a few stars shining particularly bright. Only time will tell if they become shooting stars to eventually burn out.

That said, many of them I’ve traded and would trade again. Further, some of them have just become a focus of mine as we head into the new week. I simply must know what’s going on with ASTS and am still intrigued by RKLB from earlier this year.

If you’re in the market for a covered call, a cash secured put. or simply a vertical spread, I think many of the stocks listed here would be good to research further. It appears (according to social media) you would be in good company.

Until the next post.

God bless,

Jeff
