Hello folks, I hope all is well today. I’ve personally been struggling this week with doubt about my profession and if I should continue. I’m a teacher and a coach but this week I’ve been overwhelmed with thoughts about moving on. Maybe I’m not good enough… maybe my time has come and gone…maybe I’m the problem? All questions I’ve wrestled with this week for one reason or another. Still, as I write this to you now I’m reminded of John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” So, wherever this post finds you today I hope you’ll know the enemy is a liar and he’s actively trying to convince us his lies are the truth. They are not. Keep believing and keep moving forward, God will find you on the way!
With that, I thought I’d try something new today and share with you several high-probability options trades to consider. I’ve built 5 custom Thinkorswim scans that cull through all optionable assets to find the best plays for 5 different options strategies. Now, just because the scan suggests they’re high-probability doesn’t mean I always take the trade. It just helps me cut down on hours of research finding candidates that meet my criteria.
So, in today’s post I want to share with you several high-probability options trades to consider. Before we get into it, if you need a quick intro into setting up a scan, here is a post I did way back that should help, “ThinkorSwim Scanner – Guide to Building your First Scan”.
Disclaimer – High-probability doesn’t mean success is guaranteed, just that several factors align. This post is not a recommendation to attempt any trade or strategy.
Post Agenda

High-probability Bearish Call Spread Trades: November 10th, 2025
To begin each section I’ll highlight the criteria I use to find these trades. Here is what I want to see from my bear call spread trades;
- Price closed below the 9 EMA
- RSI above 50
- Average volume higher than the 50 day average
- High implied volatility
- Price is at or near the upper standard deviation channel
These criteria significantly cut down on the amount of time it takes to find trades. If I run the scan and it doesn’t return many results I can tweak the levels and repeat to find opportunities. If I find something that looks appealing I can research further from there and avoid scrolling through chart after chart.

Final Thoughts
Well there they are, all of the high-probability options trades to consider for the week ahead. If any of the names listed above seem interesting, begin researching to see if they are ready to move. Remember with options timing is everything. Many of these assets will move in the direction the scan suggests but it may not be this week. That means, they may be good plays but may not be good plays today. Therefore, further research into the state of the market and into each symbol is paramount to finding consistent success.
That said, there are several names above I just wouldn’t trade. They may be capable but I usually limit myself to household names with above average liquidity. For example, I personally never want to trade some obscure pharmaceutical stock, no matter how good the setup looks.
I hope you found this useful but feel free to reach out in the comments if you have a suggestion.
Until the next post.
God bless,
Jeff
