Hello everyone and welcome! For today’s post I thought it was high time I got around to creating a top 10 list of ETF’s with an options strategy. These types of ETF’s have been making waves in the last few years across the investing community for their above average ability to generate cashflow.
As such, I thought it important to compile a “current” top 10 list of ETF’s with an options strategy so that someone new might have a starting point for beginning their research.
Disclaimer – While I do hold a small position in each of these assets they are not for everyone. This post is NOT a recommendation to invest.
In the following section I’ll highlight a few important considerations for each asset;
- Options Strategy utilized
- Current Yearly Yield
- Current Volume
- Assets Under Management (AUM)
- ETF issuer
- Distribution Frequency
- Expense Ratio
- Link to the ETF Homepage for further research
Each of these items is easily located on the funds website (linked) but I haven’t yet found a good source compiling them all together for quick review. Hopefully this list will serve that purpose.
Let’s get into it…
Options Strategy ETF’s List
There is no specific criteria as it relates to volume, yield, AUM, etc. and there is no ranking system, each asset is listed in random order. (i.e. number 1 on the list is no better/worse than number 10, and so forth). The only criteria, I suppose, in this top 10 list of ETF’s with an options strategy is simply that I own each of them. The list should serve as a nice starting point in uncovering the various iterations of these assets.

Closing Thoughts
There you have it, my top 10 list of ETF’s with an options strategy. However, I must again CAUTION you about these assets. They are not designed or intended to provide appreciation. Most will likely DEPRECIATE in value. I know, not great, but I’ve selected these 10 as my preferred list because I believe, I believe, I believe, (do I need to say it again?) that they offer the best opportunity at maintaining their value. However, I could easily be wrong.
That said, of the ETF’s listed above many of the issuers also offer several other high income ETF’s for notable companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. If you’re interested to know more about them please visit the link to that fund and you can find them at that website.
I hope you enjoyed the list, please be careful out there.
God bless,
Jeff
